요셉은 나가사키에 좋은 조건으로 스카웃을 당함. 그래서 요셉은 거기로 가고, 여자들과 아이들은 킴창호와 함께 시골 농장으로 가게 되었음. 거기에서 타마구치상이랑 그의 아내 쿄코, 그리고 아내의 여동생 두명이 있었다. 타마구치상은 일본인들도 매번 일을 못해서 절레절레 했었는데, 이번에 온 한국인들이 일을 너무 잘해서 아주 감격해하는 중.
그러던 어느날! 한수는 선자의 어머니, 양진을 데리고 옴. 양진은 부산에서 하숙하는 사람들 집을 다 일본사람들한테 뺏겨가지고, 일본 사람 집에서 관리 직원처럼 일하며 지내고 있었음. 양진과 선자는 눈물의 상봉을 하였음 ㅠ_ㅠ...... 경희도 처음보는 양진쓰... 자기들 손주도!
한수는 앉으나 서나 선자와 그의 자식 the boy (Noa) 걱정 뿐.....

하지만 계속해서 한수의 손아귀에 있는 것 같은 느낌을 지울 수 가 없음. 이제 그녀는 29살임에도 불구하고 남편을 읽고, 아들이 두명이 있고, 햇빛으로 인해 얼굴에 주름이 가득함. 이젠 한수는 자기를 더이상 원하지 않을거라고 생각하고 있음.
