[이 단어 나만 몰랐어?] cut off? cut in?? a cut?? a cut off?? 아오~~ 헷갈려~~

 

 

궁금하게 된 배경

 

내가 미국 교포분이랑 트럼프가 펀딩 삭감한 거 얘기할 때, he cut off research funding이라고 했던가..? 무튼 그런식으로 얘기했는데, 그분이 갑자기 layoff얘기를 하더니,,, 사람을 자르는 얘기가 나왔음. 그래서 앗 잘못쓴건가? 싶었음.
