stalemate: a situation in which neither side in an argument or contest can win or in which no progress is possible

The Korean War ended in a stalemate (armistice).

 

Armistice: an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting for a certain time; a truce.

Technically, the Korean War is not over because it ended with an armistice and not a treaty.

I been here almost 5 months, the people I saw during 5 months, like yesterday I saw people the amount of people I saw yesterday was bigger than people I saw during 5 months.

I saw more people yesterday in downtown Tampa than I had in 5 months living here.

This was actually what I wanted to say!

- 한국은 술 먹으면 처벌이 오히려 약해진다.

- 판사들이 upper class여서 impartial하지 못하고 biased가 있는 것 같다. 가난한 사람들이 오히려 더 heavier한 형량 받는다.

- 많은 베트남 학생들 봤는데 정부에서 혜택을 주는거 같다.

- 신기하게 술을 즐겨 마시지 않는다. 아무래도 차가 있어서 그런거 같기도 하다. 

- 나 위해서 이곳저곳 구경시켜주고 데려다 줬다.
