The author and her father went on vacation to Vietnam to avoid a suffocating house. In the beginning, their traveling was not bad, and even it seemed they were better partners than I expected. However, they wound up fighting in the restaurant because they had lived on the opposite side of the fault line. After running away from her father, she came across a random bar and met a stranger, Out of nowhere. She was bright and helped her to cheer up by suggesting singing a song on the stage. Therefore, she sang a song that reminded her of memories with her mom and thankfully it was great to comfort her.

"The author and her father went on vacation to Vietnam to escape a suffocating household atmosphere. Initially, their travels went smoothly, and they seemed to get along better than expected. However, they ended up arguing in a restaurant, as they had lived on opposite sides of a metaphorical fault line. After fleeing from her father, she stumbled upon a random bar and met a stranger unexpectedly. This stranger was cheerful and suggested she sing a song on stage to lift her spirits. Therefore, she performed a song that evoked memories of her mother, which thankfully brought her great comfort."

📕After her mother’s funeral, the author and her father decided to go somewhere they could rest. They chose Vietnam because of the strong value of the American dollar. When they arrived at the hotel, some people often misunderstood their relationship, mistaking them for a couple instead of father and daughter. Despite their efforts to clarify, they couldn't muster the courage to mention Chongmi's death. One day during their trip, they had a disagreement and spent time apart.
Upon returning to the hotel, the author saw her father sitting on a couch with a somber expression. The following day, they encountered the morning buffet and silently agreed to continue their journey together.
