The author kept working hard on purpose to ignore her reality without a mother. As time went by, her family ended up organizing all the stuff and then settled in their new place in New York. 

After that, she and Peter went to Korea for their belated honeymoon. During her time on board, she kept being worried that communication with Nami without their translator would be challenging. However, compared to her worries, Nami and Emoboo had them welcome and warm, so she was relieved of her love. 

 

The author continued to work diligently, using her efforts to distract herself from the reality of living without her mother. As time passed, her family managed to organize everything and eventually settled into their new home in New York.
