After deciding to stay at the parent's house, she made an effort to cook korean dishes that mom was used to relish. However, her mom's condition had worsen everyday, and she couldn't be managable to digest any food.

It was relief she was a same gender like her mom becuase it was much easier to take care of her. However, even though she looked fine, she was enduring her sorrow inside.
