화려한 솔로몬의 생일파티! 유명한 가수들, 부자 친구들 가족들도 다 와서 성대한 파티가 열렸음. 이 챕터에서는 에츠코가 솔로몬의 엄마가 될 수 있을지, 모자수와 결혼할 수 있을 지 계속해서 혼란스러워 하는 장면들이 나옴. 솔로몬은 동사무소 가서 지문 찍고 온 잉크가 계속 묻어있는지도 모르고 놀았는데, 에츠코는 이걸 발견하고 마지막에 씻겨줌.
솔로몬은 에츠코를 엄마로 받아들일 준비가 되어있는 거 같기도... 그런 솔로몬의 위로에 눈물이터진 에츠코는 두려웠던 마음에서 한발자국 벗어난듯?!
