요셉이 돈을 빌려서 사채업자들이 찾아옴. 100엔 빌렸는데, 이자가 불어서 200엔 가량이 되어버림. 선자는 당황하지 않고 그들을 다시 돌려보낸 후에, 경희와 함께 pawnshop(전당포)을 찾아감. 거기서 선자는 한수가 준 시계를 팔려고 함. 흥정 끝에 200엔에 팔게 되었음. 여기서 선자의 기지를 엿봄! 다시 찾아온 사채업자에게 직접 돈을 주는 건 불안하여, 빚을 갚았단 증거가 확실히 남게 하기 위해 보스를 찾아감. 그리고 빚을 청산하고 돌아옴. 알고봤더니, 요셉이 선자와 이삭이 오사카 오는데 들은 품삯을 내기 위해서 돈을 빌렸던 것으로 추정.
